You can utilise the Threads API to create geo-gated content restricted to one or more specific countries. Content marked in this manner will only be displayed to Threads profiles in those countries.
How to share to Threads using geo-gating
Go to the Campaign of your choice
Navigate to SETTINGS
Select ALLOWED LIST
Add up to 100 countries and hit SAVE SETTINGS
Navigate to the asset in question and select the Threads account as a SHARE DESTINATION and SHARE
📕 Note: Please note the following limitations & requirements necessary:
must have the feature enabled on your Threads account
only works for allowed lists
a maximum of 100 countries may be listed (for both allow & block lists)
