Campaigns are used to store and manage all of the content that you create and upload in Grabyo. Campaign creation is only available to admin users, who can create as many campaigns as needed.

Creating a campaign

  1. Navigate to the home page

  2. Select + in the bottom right-hand corner of the page

  3. Add a CAMPAIGN NAME

  4. Upload a COVER IMAGE

  5. Enter your ASSOCIATED SOCIAL ACCOUNTS

  6. Select a GEO-TARGETING TYPE

  7. Enter your GEO-TARGETING COUNTRIES

  8. Select CREATE CAMPAIGN to save

Campaign name: This is an internal name used to reference your campaign.

Cover image: This is the image that appears next to your campaign name inside Studio. Please upload a file sized 854x480 pixels.

Associated social accounts: The associated social accounts are not share destinations, they are only associated with the campaign you are creating. For example, if you are creating a campaign for a specific event, you can enter event-specific social accounts instead of organisation-specific social accounts.

Geo-targeting: This is where you can add geo-restrictions to your new campaign. Select whether you want to whitelist or blacklist countries and then type to enter the countries in the designated box. If this field is left unpopulated no geo-blocking will be applied to the campaign.

📕 Note: Please note that geo-restriction does not apply to any clips and live streams published on YouTube. If you require geo-targeting for YouTube, please create a Content ID and check this article

💡 Tip: Organise your campaigns in whichever way you find easiest to manage. Create multiple campaigns for territories, events or even one campaign containing everything.

Archiving, restoring & deleting a campaign

Archive

If you wish to remove a campaign from sight, you can do so by clicking the menu icon>ARCHIVE on a campaign of your choice. An archived campaign is not deleted but only hidden away.

Restore

You can see all your archived campaigns by toggling ARCHIVED at the top of your campaigns on the home page.

To restore an archived campaign, click on the menu icon>RESTORE on a campaign. This will return the archived campaign to the home page and make it visible/accessible across all of Grabyo's tools.

Delete

Access the DELETE option using the campaign context menu on the homepage.

The confirmation modal appears once delete has been selected. The confirmation modal only becomes active once the checkbox has been selected

📕 Note: Campaign deletion is a permanent and irreversible deletion of all assets within a campaign. This includes Videos, Images, GIFs & Creative sets.

Only admin users have the ability to delete campaigns.

Associated Facebook page/Twitter account

The associated social accounts are not 'share destinations' to which your clips will be shared. These social accounts are associated with the campaign you are creating.

Facebook: In some cases when a Grabyo video is re-shared on Facebook, it will have a Facebook page associated with it. This means that the name of the associated page will appear as a link on the shared post. If you don't enter this information, the name of your campaign will appear instead with no click-through link.

Twitter: When a video card is selected, the sharing account will appear along with a smaller logo of the associated account just above the video. This is also a clickable link that will take viewers back to the associated account. If this field is left blank it will default to the Grabyo logo.

User access settings

Once you have created a campaign you will be taken to manage the user access settings. This is where you can dictate which users have access to your campaign and its content.
