Open Captions in Live Clipping

Written by Nick Gutierrez
Updated this week

The new Open Captions in Live Clipping feature introduces the ability for users to overlay customizable, burned-in captions directly onto their video clips within Studio.

This eliminates the dependency on external editing software, reducing the time and complexity involved in preparing short-form video content for social media.

By integrating AI-powered transcription directly into the live clipping workflow, we ensure users can maintain the speed and efficiency that Grabyo is known for.

Accessing Captions

  1. Select the IN and OUT points of your content in the timeline

  2. Select the ASPECT RATIO of your clip

  3. Click on CAPTIONS in the top left corner of the content preview

  4. On the CAPTIONS SIDEBAR, click on GENERATE AI TRANSCRIPTIONS

  5. The generated captions will be shown once the process is completed.

📕 Note: Users can stop the AI generation process if it is taking too long or if they have made a mistake.
