Users can now schedule when a pro ingest will start and stop, similar to stream scheduling.
How to schedule a Pro ingest
Select OPTIONS for the ingest you want to schedule
Select SCHEDULE > CREATE
Input a TITLE
Add START DATE / STOP DATE and START TIME / STOP TIME
From the RECURRING drop-down, select the desired option
CREATE SCHEDULE
📕 Note: As a precautionary measure, scheduled pro-ingest will start 5 minutes before the scheduled time and stop 5 minutes after the scheduled time.
✅ Tip: Ensure you select the correct timezone when scheduling a stream.
How to start a Pro ingest manually
Select START on the ingest of your choice
Add a TITLE (optional)
Select a DURATION
Hit START
Start multiple Pro Ingests simultaneously
📕 Note: Users will need to set the duration when manually turning on a stream between 30 minutes and 24 hours.
📕 Note: Only Admin and Manager roles can schedule or manually start/stop streams.
✅ Tip: For all our supported recurring schedules, refer to our stream scheduler, which works the same as the pro ingest scheduler here.
Continuous Pro ingest
Unlike stream scheduling, where continuous streams are not included in the feature, we do support continuous pro ingest options, which ensure the pro ingest is always on.
