There are a few methods to go live on TikTok: through the TikTok mobile application, via the Live Studio or by using a desktop version (OBS). However, if you wish to broadcast from Grabyo to TikTok, you must use the OBS (RTMP) workflow.

How to broadcast Live to TikTok

  1. Go to tiktok.com/live and select GO LIVE, then OBS

  2. After entering the TikTok Live Producer, click GO LIVE to get the streaming details.

  3. Complete all the LIVE Settings and click SAVE & GO LIVE

  4. Copy the SERVER URL and STREAM KEY

  5. Go to Grabyo > BROADCAST > CREATE NEW BROADCAST > ADD CUSTOM DESTINATION

  6. Enter a TITLE and paste the details from TikTok

  7. Click CREATE RTMP DESTINATION to save the destination

  8. In the BROADCAST window, select the newly created destination and click NEXT

  9. Choose a CAMPAING, enter a BROADCAST TITLE and select NEXT

  10. Click START ALL BROADCASTS to begin streaming

Currently, to live stream from Grabyo to TikTok, you must use the desktop streaming (OBS) workflow, which is available by requesting access directly from TikTok. This grants creators an initial 14-day trial. To automatically extend access for up to 180 days, creators must go live for more than 25 minutes on at least two occasions during the trial period.

📕 Note: To get the stream key and server URL, you must click "Go Live" on the TikTok desktop Producer page, which opens the configuration screen. Even though you are not actually broadcasting yet, this screen displays the necessary URL and Key.

✅ Tip: You have 15 minutes to use the Stream Key in TikTok LIVE Studio before it expires and resets. Please note that the TikTok custom RTMP link changes each time a new Stream Key is generated. Therefore, if you plan to go live on TikTok again, you should delete the existing RTMP link from Grabyo and create a new one for your next broadcast.
