Graphic Transitions allow you to move from one piece of content to another with the application of a graphic overlay.

How to create a Graphics Transition

  1. Go to GRAPHIC TRANSITION

  2. ADD GRAPHICS TRANSITION

  3. Select the asset for transition and hit NEXT

  4. Insert a TITLE, chose a TRANSITION STYLE, SET CUT POINTS, AUDIO FADE STYLE & VOLUME

  5. Hit SAVE to complete

📕 Note: The Asset Library orders the assets by video length. Asset for a Graphic Transition must be in the time length range of 0.5 seconds to 15 seconds. Only assets that comply with this time frame will be able to be selected, assets that are out of this range will be greyed-out and not be available for selection.

Functionalities

There are several options and functionalities which are listed in the collapsable section below.

Title

This is the name the Graphic Transition will have (limited to 30 characters in length).

Transition Style

This is the style of animation applied to the transition and the Cut style of transition is available.

Transition Video Player

The asset used for the Graphic Transition allows the cut point to be set for Cut transition styles. It does not play/preview the Graphic Transition but simply plays the selected video resource and allows for a cut point to be set where appropriate.

Replace

This link allows you to replace the existing asset for the transition to another one and it takes you to the Asset Library to select a resource.

Audio Fade Style

This sets the way that the audio moves from one scene to another under the overlaying transition.

Cut

The cut fade style simply transitions from the audio of one clip to another.

Crossfade

The crossfade style transitions from the audio of one clip to another by blending them - turning one down and the other up at the same time.

V-Fade

The V-Fade style transitions from the audio of one clip to another by turning one down and then the other up.

Volume

Sets the overall volume for the Graphic Transition's video asset.

By default, this is set to 0db. Moving the slider to the leftmost position (infinity symbol) effectively mutes any audio on the transition.

💡 Tip: The number of Graphic Transitions is limited to 5 when this number has reached the ability to create a transition (cross icon) is no longer enabled; to create a new Graphic Transition in this case you need to delete an existing Graphic Transition to free up space for a new one.
