Adding media sources

In Producer, you can add media files from your device, web or Grabyo campaign as well as video and audio live streams.

 

Adding a live stream

  1. Select + in your chosen layer
  2. Select LIVE STREAM 
  3. Add a TITLE
  4. Add a SOURCE STREAM URL
  5. Select ADD SOURCE to finish

Note: You can choose to either input a source RTMP or HLS URL by selecting the PULL option or choose an existing ingest point in your account by selecting the PUSH option.

 

Adding a local source

  1. Select + in your chosen layer
  2. Select LOCAL SOURCE 
  3. Choose between CAMERA AND MICROPHONE and MICROPHONE ONLY
  4. Select ADD SOURCE to finish

Note: You can disconnect from the source in the settings menu and connect again at a later date.

 

Adding an audio-only stream

  1. Select + in your chosen layer
  2. Select LIVE STREAM 
  3. Add a TITLE
  4. Add a SOURCE STREAM URL
  5. Select ADD SOURCE to finish

 

Adding an audio file

The following types of audio streams and audio files are supported:

Live streams: RTMP HLS MP3      
Audio files: MP3 AIFF WAV MP4 M4A  FLAC

  1. Select + in your chosen layer
  2. Select UPLOAD FILE
  3. Add a TITLE
  4. Upload your audio file
  5. Select SAVE

Tip: You can use audio files streams to create a 'visual radio' experience through your Producer instance.

 

Adding images and videos from desktop or web

  1. Select + in your chosen layer
  2. Select UPLOAD FILE
  3. Add a TITLE
  4. Upload your image or video file
  5. Select SAVE

 

Adding assets from campaign

  1. Select + in your chosen layer
  2. Select ADD FROM CAMPAIGN 
  3. SEARCH for the CAMPAIGN using the Search Bar Refactor
  4. Select a CAMPAIGN
  5. Select a video
  6. Drag and drop it into your layer
