Call To Action

A CTA is a Call To Action. On Grabyo we use this to prompt the viewer to take a specific action after viewing a clip. It is a way to further drive user engagement from your Grabyo clips on Facebook and Twitter.

On Facebook the CTA appears after the video has played out with an optional URL mask. This is useful when you want to link to a website with a long URL, and only want to display part of it.  When viewing a Facebook CTA from a mobile device it will also appear at the end of your clip.

Facebook CTA options:

  • Bet now
  • Book travel
  • Buy now
  • Buy tickets
  • Download
  • Get offer
  • Install app
  • Install mobile app
  • Learn more
  • Listen music
  • Mobile download
  • Open link
  • Play game
  • Shop now
  • Update app
  • Use app
  • Use mobile app
  • Watch more
  • Watch video

Twitter CTAs are visible in the top right corner of the video throughout the length of the clip, however, this will disappear unless a mouse is hovered over the clip. Twitter does not offer URL masking, however, only the main address of the link will appear in the CTA. When viewing a Twitter CTA from an IOS mobile device you will need to click on the video to make the CTA appear, when viewing on an Android device the CTA will appear at the bottom of the screen throughout the clip.

Twitter CTA options:

  • Visit
  • Watch now
